Science Open Morning
We all had a brilliant start to Friday morning with a fun, adventurous investigation into science during our open morning. We joined in with interesting investigations into the local wildlife (making bug hotels and birds’ nests) creating fossilised poo, designing astro nappies, hunting for and designing mini beasts.
Tavy class were very lucky to be visited by Jessamine Smith (who is a keeper at Shepreth Wildlife Park) she told them all about life working at a zoo and shared lots of interesting information about animals she works with as well as discussing threats to wildlife and conservation. The children finished their science morning by making their own bird-feeders out of recycled plastic bottles.
