2018 Spring Term
This half term we have been learning about mini-beasts, we went on a mini-beast hunt in the conservation area looking for pond skaters, we did find a worm with babies. The children made representations of mini-beasts looking in factual books. We tried moving like a snail, worm, slug or caterpillar stretching our bodies to get around.
We were lucky that some snow stayed on the ground and the children had fun making snow-angels!
2018 Summer Term
This term we have been busy learning about ‘our senses’ and ‘holidays’. We walked through a sensory trail, feeling the different materials and textures,
We had a lovely time at David and Joy’s Bluebell woods.
We made a bus on our bus holiday week and pretended to go to a shop.
We have made a pretend camp fire, had fun playing in a tent and are looking forward to a trip to the beach!
At the end of the term we will be sad to say goodbye to our children that are moving on to School – we wish them lots of fun on their new adventure.
2018 Autumn Term
On Wednesday the 31st Oct, Lapford Preschool went looking for conkers, whilst on the village green they saw a silhouette statue and there was a poppy display inside the church.
