To receive this award, schools must demonstrate the highest standards of music provision, both in the classroom and through an extensive programme of extracurricular activities. Chulmleigh College is delighted that its music education provision has been recognised in this way.

Currently, over 100 pupils at Chulmleigh College take part in weekly instrumental and vocal lessons. Many other pupils, including those not currently learning an instrument, continue to demonstrate outstanding musical ability in their class lessons and school performances.

As a designated Lead School for Music, Chulmleigh looks forward to further developing its music offer and sharing best practice with other schools across the region.
